The introduction of INVISI follows on from the designer visiting many Art exhibitions with local Art Clubs using many different picture display easels, some very expensive but most with some deficiency whether it be stability, weight, or difficulty with storing and handling.

The product was initially designed for Art Clubs but is also ideal for solo artist exhibitions and for use by galleries. A complete exhibition can be mounted using available tables and INVISI. The requirement for a lightweight product to enable table displays to be effective without toppling is apparent also for one that will pack flat for easy storage and transportation. INVISI is now available after considerable development and testing under exhibition conditions. The product uses structural plastics and is very strong when erected.

INVISI's are designed to hold pictures with a backing board, but can hold canvas as long as there is something at the back for the supports to lean on. INVISI's will not hold 3D canvas.

INVISI's can hold lighter pictures (eg. unframed canvas board) up to about bout 24" high. If the picture is heavier (eg. framed with glass) the maximum height will be less, depending on the weight of the picture. For very wide pictures it may be advisable to use an INVISI on each end of the picture.

Sturdy and useful for display. (Invisi Pack of 10)

by Yolande Knight (Redhill, United Kingdom) on 4 Apr 2012

"I bought 10 for my art group. Will be useful for small displays as we don't have access to display boards. Very sturdy."

Delighted!

by Yvonne Ticehurst (Washington, West Sussex) on 7 Jun 2007

"I ordered a pack of five in order to assess the product. I am delighted! The design is so simple and yet so practical. I plan to order at least sixty for our exhibition in July - and as soon as we have more funds at least sixty more. They fold flat, take little storage space, and display pictures safely, but also once set up on the tables will cut down the time normally needed to display pictures. No hooks to slot into place and easy to add name cards etc. Great idea."

Pleasantly surprised at the longevity of the product

by John Wardle (Derbyshire) on 7 Aug 2009

"As the designer and user of Invisi I have been pleasantly surprised at the longevity of the product we have a 100 at our Chesterfield Art Club and they were the first to be purchased and have done at least 35 trips another Club with 75 Invisi easels at Ashover has used them too and have had the same beneficial experience. You could say as the designer that I am biased, yes i probably am but am happy to be so as they have saved our clubs a fortune in Stand Hire costs. We now run more exhibitions where we use the suggested "Invisi only" set up and they have proved popular...one added benefit some village halls have poor artificial lighting but reasonable daylight light so the ability to have a completely open aspect gives a better overall impression and assists greatly in stewarding."

Really good value all round

by V. Cansick (Hertfordshire) on 15 Feb 2008

"They are very strong indeed but most importantly they don't fall over if you use them as a working easel! The brilliant thing with the Invisi is that you can use A4 or A3 size boards for watercolour or acrylic painting and they sit snugly in the holding slot to give the surface just the right angle to paint on.

They take up very little space if that is at a premium. Best of all they collapse flat for easy and economical storage or carrying if you have to take them back and forth. I think the design is brilliant, very sturdy and will stand being put up and taken down endlessly. Really good value all round and you can use it for display or a working easel for small pieces.

PS. I will also be using them for part of my exhibition 2009 which I am working towards right now."

So easy to store and transport!

by David Abse (Les Matelles, France) on 22 Sep 2010

"These are fantastic - I use them in my atelier and on market stalls - they are so easy to store and transport. They are also great as a quick portable table easel - for taking work out to show others, presentations, and even for small painting projects outdoors. Thanks!"

Excellent!

by Yvonne Ticehurst (Findon Valley , West Sussex) on 12 Sep 2008

"We held an exhibition last weekend using our INVISI stands on two lines of tables. They were excellent, providing a near view and also, from the other side of a line of tables, a distance view of the paintings. Stewarding was easier with a clear view of all the paintings at the same time. An additional bonus, commented on by several visitors was the fact that all the pictures were displayed at exactly the same angle."

Excellent Value for Money (Invisi Pack of 5)

by Teresa Whyte (Stevenage, United Kingdom) on 16 May 2012

"I purchased these foldable display easels to hold some framed prints that I need to display simply at a local exhibition and the product is perfect for the job. It took me a few minutes to work out exactly how to click it into place and think that images would be better than words, but all in all it does the job and as long as you are careful storing them, I think they are value for money."

Ken Bromley's replies: Glad you like the INVISIs, we do have a video (beneath the large picture on the INVIS page) that shows you how to construct the INVISI easels. Hope this helps!

Solid construction, light to carry. (Invisi Pack of 5)

by Susan Durrant (Castelnau Sur L'auvignon, France) on 1 May 2012

"Innovative lightweight, foldaway flat, easel. Wide feet give good stability even on market stall. Wind resistance no worse than small wooden easels, in fact squared off wide base makes it better. Indoors, it will carry large glass covered frames without problem. Not particularly cheap."
