Shipping to UK Mainland

UK mainland is defined as any UK address except the Highlands & Islands. UK mainland also excludes certain mainland postcodes (see list below)

Regular Shipping

  • Orders under £40 - £3.95
  • Orders over £40 - FREE

 

Express Shipping

Express shipping can be specified at the checkout stage, and applies to all items except cartons of Reeves and Winsor & Newton canvas and large studio easels.

  • Orders under £40 - £8.94
  • Orders over £40 - £4.99

Express delivery to UK mainland addresses will arrive the next working day before noon providing the order is placed by 2pm the day before. Orders placed on Friday after 2pm, Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on Monday and express delivered on Tuesday morning.

***Order shipped by Express Delivery must be signed for and can not be left without a signature.***

PLEASE NOTE: A separate contract is being entered  for express shipping when it is being requested.  Per the distance-selling act, you do have the right to cancel within 7 days, but not once the express service has started.  In plain English, the cost of express postage would not be refunded if the product was returned, unless the goods delivered were faulty.  It is possible to cancel the express shipping as long as the order has not been shipped.

Express shipping of Loxley & Ashgate Cartons of Canvas

For express shipping of Loxley and Ashgate cartons for next working day before 1pm guaranteed delivery the cost is as follows:

  • 1 carton - £8.00
  • 2 cartons - £9.40
  • 3 cartons - £11.75

Please note that the above prices should be used as a guide, and we will contact you with the final cost before processing your order.

Delivery time

  • Orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours of receipt. During busy periods (e.g. Christmas), please allow more time.
  • Once dispatched, regular delivery to UK mainland can take from one to three days.
  • Express delivery (only to UK mainland addresses excluding highlands and Islands postcodes above) will arrive the next working day before noon providing the order is placed by 2pm the day before. 
    Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on Monday express delivered on Tuesday morning. 
    The express delivery applies to all items except cartons of canvas, Vistaplan art workstations and large studio easels.
  • Delivery times to non-UK mainland locations varies.


 

Ordering Out of Stock Items

If you try to order a product that is out of stock, or if you order more than we currently have in stock, you will receive a warning. If you proceed with the order, the products which are in stock will be dispatched as normal. The extra products which are not presently in stock will be dispatched as and when they come into stock, with no additional shipping charge. There are some exceptions to this rule and we will contact you if extra shipping charges are required.



Shipping to UK Highlands & Islands


Highlands & Islands are defined as those UK address with a postcode in the following range: PO30-41, BT, IM, TR21-25, IV, KW, ZE, HS, KA27-28, PH19-44, PH49-50, PA20-88.

 

Parcels under 1.5Kg and not greater than 15"x22"

Small light parcels can be sent by Royal Mail and will be charged at the same rate as UK Mainland.

  • Orders under £40 - £3.95
  • Orders over £40 - FREE


 

Parcels over 1.5Kg and/or larger than 15"x22"

Larger parcels will be sent by courier and are subject to a surcharge.

  • Orders under £40 - £6.45
  • Orders from £40 to £99.99 - £2.50
  • Orders over £100.00  - FREE

We do not have an express service to the highlands and islands


Shipping to Channel Islands

 

Post code range GY & JE.

Parcels under 1.5Kg and/or less than 15"x22"

Small light parcels can be sent by Royal Mail and will be charged at the same rate as UK Mainland.

  • Orders under £40 - £3.95
  • Orders over £40 - FREE


 

Parcels over 1.5Kg and/or larger than 15"x22"

Larger parcels will be sent by courier and are subject to a surcharge.

  • Orders under £40 - £12.00
  • Orders over £40 - £8.00

We do not have an express service to the channel islands.

Shipping to European Community


Shipping outside of the UK Mainland is calculated by weight and size of the parcel. The shipping will be calculated automatically taking into account the weight and size of the items you order and with an allowance for the packaging. If you find that the shipping for your order seems expensive, you can try editing your shopping cart to see if that reduces the charge. Taking out heavy or large items will reduce the shipping charge.

Parcels up to 2Kg and less than 18" x 15"

Small light parcels can be sent within Europe by Royal Mail. The following prices are as a guide only:

  • up to 0.5Kg - £5.00
  • 0.5Kg to 0.9kg - £6.28
  • 0.9Kg to 1.5Kg - £8.80
  • 1.5Kg to 2kg - £11.28
     

Small packets sent by Royal Mail do not have tracking details unless the goods value is over £120.00.  If you request tracking details for orders under £120.00 there is an additional cost of £5.00.

Parcels between 2Kg and 20Kg and/or larger than 18" x 15"

Larger parcels are sent by courier and have tracking details. The prices in the table below show the postage costs of a parcel to the countries listed.:

Delivery Times to EU Countries

The table below shows the approximate* delivery times in working days once the goods leave us.  (A working day is Monday to Friday and excludes Saturday and Sunday)

You will be sent an email when the goods are collected by our delivery company with tracking details if applicable.



*all delivery dates are approximate. On rare occasions, parcels may be subject to delays, Royal Mail considesr a parcel lost until 25 days after dispatch. We do not have an express service to the outside the UK.

Insurance for orders sent outside the UK

All orders are insured against loss and damage.

You can now ship your order using FedEx priority service from £10.99 and your order will be delivered in approximately 2 - 3 business days from placing your order.

Parcels up to 2Kg and less than 18" x 15" to the rest of the World (outside Europe)

Small light parcels can be sent worldwide by Royal Mail. The following prices are as a guide only:

  • Small items under 0.5Kg - £5.00
  • 0.5Kg to 0.9kg - £7.90
  • 0.9Kg to 1.5Kg - £12.50
  • 1.5Kg to 2kg - £15.65

    For USA & Canada:
  • Small items under 0.5Kg - £5.00   (Choose express shipping at checkout for £10.99 for FedEx service)
  • 0.5Kg to 0.9kg - £7.90  (Choose express shipping at checkout for £12.89 for FedEx service)
  • 0.9Kg to 1.5Kg - £12.50  (This is cost of FedEx priority service)
  • 1.5Kg to 2kg - £15.65  (This is cost of FedEx priority service)
    Orders under 0.9Kg which are not going on the Express service will go by air mail and will usually take 6-11 working days to arrive.

Small packets sent by Royal Mail do not have tracking details unless the goods value is over £100.00.  If you request tracking details for orders under £100.00 there is an additional cost of £5.00.


Parcels between 2Kg and 20Kg and/or larger than 18" x 15"

Larger parcels are sent by courier and have tracking details. The prices in the table below show the postage costs of a parcel to the countries listed.:
